They think she's crazy as she continues to wait. Written for musical drabble
I know they think I’m crazy for not moving on, for loving you still. I see the pity in their eyes when they see me, and hear it in those heavy sighs when they speak to me. I can’t help it. I love you as much today as I did six years ago. I’m not crazy! My heart aches for you and I still want you. Time and distance doesn’t stop the ache to be near you. A cruel twist of fate took you away, so here I sit waiting for my impending death to find you again.
