senryu form, like haiku uses no caps with the exception of proper nouns and no punctuation, not even in the title. it traditionally uses only seventeen syllables in 5-7-5 format although there are variations. Senryu usually has something to do with life. Generally it takes a comedic approach but not always.

Lipograms are poems omitting certain letters. The challenge for this month was to omit the letter "C".
