My frustrations in written words
Women need to be perfect at womanly duties such as cooking, cleaning, and making babies
Girls grow up with their mothers implanting their daughters with the idea that they are only good at house duties
Whereas men are expected to be men
Men go to work and bring home the bacon
There is a statement every brown parent says when they are trying to get their son married
“ When he gets married his wife will straighten him”
this very statement frustrates me
why do we women have to learn how to be well mannered and have special talents when men don’t have those expectations
Men not being a virgin before marriage is perfectly fine but a woman needs to be pure until marriage
the double standards kill me
If a man is not the sole breadwinner of the household then society looks down upon that person or the couple saying
“ Poor guy his wife is bringing home the paychecks”
or
“She must be doing something wrong doing a man’s job”
No one ever says wow both of them pay the bills and contribute to society
