Why the dragons disappeared.
Last Flight

See ancient figures carved in stone,
statues symbolizing winds blown;
illustrating desperate times,
egg held by dragons overthrown.

Danger announced by great bell chimes;
breeze interrupts destined lifetimes,
when dragons lost their last fight
as the stench of seawater climbs.

Finding better homes through long flight,
as dragons exploit their last plight
ocean's angry urge to destroy;
winds and waters disturbed midnight.
