I wrote this from the perspective of an imaginary friend who has just been replaced.
Everyday, this is where I wish to be
Sitting here with you drinking imaginary tea
Playing dress up, and going to the playground
To collect and show off everything that we found
So much laughter and fun just you and I
Even in the bad times I never did cry
Till the day that you left me I always would smile
I guess now I don't conform to your life style
I guess now I'm not your hero, I knew the day would come
I just wasn't expecting it so soon, now I'm just numb
I miss you my dear child, you were my best friend
But I guess best friends forever has an end
I don't know why but you're hard to let go of
Please tell my all this time wasn't wasted on imaginary love
