A lesson taught isn’t always a lesson learned
In the eyes of the offender, where guilt only shows when caught
Narcissism is the name of the trait, in place of personality, like a cancer overtaking the good and devouring it whole
Take a look in the mirror, do you like what you see?
No longer a reflection of who you were, but before you lies the wretched vile filth of who you have become
You may not see it, acknowledge the transition, but on the outside looking in, the image is clear as day,
Your veil of lies and the mask cannot cover the true self in which we peer into, that which you have become
Only in darkness is there light, and you are but a black hole sucking out the light
Leaving nothing but darkness
Tell me, how do you continue to self reflect, when all you’ve become is nothing more than a pillar of darkness?
Alas hope remains, everything can be reversed, but only if one takes the steps to redemption, not in the eyes or path of a deity nor worship, but in the name of your goodwill.
