Many have experienced it, and here's my interpretation.
The pencil runs across the white sheet
The author's mind is filled with excitement
Lines, symbols, and letters created
Time goes on while well-spent

However, the pencil stops in its place
Making no movements or markings
The only thing present being sheer silence
Lack of creativity the moment brings

The author sits there, thinking hard
Nothing coming to mind
Grinding the creativity and thoughts
The ideas being unable to unwind

The brain is working overtime
A storm brews within it
Causing such mayhem and distortion
Sub-conscious and imagination split

Shelter has been taken
Ideas hidden from plain sight
The storm rains heavily
Not giving a chance for light

However, the storm starts to calm
Showing the rainbow within
The sparks begin to ignite
To the way it has always been
