Stop and don't remember
I was born in a bed
In a room
In a hospital
On the 23rd December day
In the uneventful year of 2003

This was after the world discovered terrorism
And in the prime of Early 2000s bleh music
So why was I needed
Why did the world want me

They already had Prince
They have already heard the greatness of Whitney Houston
They had seen the magnificence of Rafael
They had read the greatness of Langston Hughes
What will I contribute to the world

Will I fight a war against the unjust
Will I write a book about what I believe
Will I capture the night sky in a painting
Will the world remember my name

Watch By: Nicholas Pettit

Tick tick
Be patient says the old man
Tick tick
Make the role yours
Tick tick
Wear a watch for the timing is the key

Here I wait
For
The perfect moment
To say the lines
That will
Win the prize
That was promised to me

The watch on my wrist
Is
The only thing
That keeps me on the ground

How to Forget 2 and 6 By: Nicholas Pettit

The number one sits
Waiting for your lovely song
There’s my melody

The number three screams
For someone to notice that
I don’t even try

The number four sings
A song of love in New York
That ends in Carmen

The number five laughed
To your sweet voice of your youth
When did that leave you

The number seven
Is still leaving me speechless
Where is my applause
