celebrating springtime in a Haiku Sonnet
The trill of robins
greets the rising sun.
The season is ripe.

Musky aroma,
as gardener tills the soil.
The season is ripe.

Easter bunnies romp
while children scramble for eggs.
The season is ripe.

Lovers spoon at night
and make plans for wedding day.
The season is ripe.

In Mother Nature's new clothes,
the earth celebrates rebirth.
