We have only just begun to discover
Horizons Alone
I have never loved so easy as when
I was truly within my peace of mind...
As a sweet breeze gently touching
with many horizons alone but free to find...
Wandering aimlessly through life's duration & accord
One can afford to delve in their past
To get a humble glimpse of their future
I pray that God will make me
a fountain pure and sweet
once this life is finished no chance to repeat
So daily I can cool your brow & wash your dusty feet
Then when you take a drink
of the waters flowing free,
you'll know the Holy Spirit is flowing out of me
For I have seen what this old world has to offer me
It can't hold a wing nor a prayer
to what my savior Jesus did holding his arms in the air
With my hair I'll dry your feet,
Then rub them with sweet oils,
soon you'll be refreshed again from life's daily toils.
