It's been a weird couple of years. New experiences and finally finding what I needed
We walk paths with no end in sight
Finding one another at the crossroads
The winds of winter are cold
Chilled by the ice in our hearts
Heavy breaths engulfing, surrounding.
But not from the cold, from uncertainty
Is this it? Have I found forever?
Eyes are locked, whispers are like echoes, loud
My focus is only on you and you alone
Years of silence, go away with the first look
Like we never left that place
Happiness, surely not. Is that possible?
This is so unknown to me, so new.. but so familiar
A lifetime of wandering and wondering
Comes down to me and you
Where life begins and love wins.
