Promptly Potter. Day Twenty-One.
Called to the hearing
But can't hear a sound
Over his ears ringing
His heart begins to pound

The hearing could see the end of it all
Life or death should matter
The hearing could be the final fall
And he hears the footsteps patter

The anticipation of the hearing
Has left a funny taste in his mouth
He can feel his vision blurring
He can only hope it won't go south

The hearing could be his last hope
He feels his heart begin to sink
He's at the end of a rope
Or at least he's on the brink
