 Hills of West Virginia  (E)
A contest entry for the S&L Contest
#2123165 by Chris Breva

The hills of West Virginia
A place that I call home
They nurture and feed me
They provide my every need
Why would I ever roam
They are indeed "Almost heaven".

The people here are neighborly
I often sleep with my door unlocked
I know who my neighbors are
They know me just as well
We have each other's backs
West Virginia is my home.

Green mountains everywhere
Interrupted by nothing at all
Rivers of crystal water
One of the seven wonders
Scenery that takes your breath
Here I was born and here I'll die
My sweet home West Virginia.
