Swirling mists tread softly on the streets ... DAY 5 - 30 Day Image Prompt Contest
Whitechapel Memories

The swirling mists tread softly on the streets,
recalling nights of terror thought long gone.
A shadow moves. A faceless man retreats
in silence from the scene his blade has drawn;
the signature of hell's own evil spawn.
Whitechapel still remembers him as "Jack."
The stories, grown to myth, still linger on
and surface when there's news of an attack.
Remembered as a demon dressed in black,
they pray his evil's never coming back.
