Poetry Descriptions Are Pointless
Whisper to me, soft and low
Tell me your secrets, I'll share mine
Two souls bound by starlight
Bodies entwined in the dark
Learn my scars, I'll trace yours
Bodies broken from battles before
Two weary spirits returning from war
There isn't much left of me
In the way of my heart
Its been frozen and shattered-
But I think yours might be damaged
Pieces just as jagged as mine
So, I will give what I have
Carve my pieces to fit yours
Tell me how you are broken
So I can curve around the hurt
Protect my weaknesses
I will protect yours
As we lie here, shadows and light
Our heat forging something new
Broken, and still beautiful.
