Love poem for the contest
I didn't want to change the world
This one was good for me.
I wasn't looking into the microscopes,
Looking for undiscovered viruses,

I haven't browsed trough encyclopedias
Went for good grades.
I only wanted to love her,
In Novi Sad, on Dunav

Where the old iron bridge used to be
Which she crossed over sometimes,
Letting her hair of, like a silk web,
In which culms of moonlight got caught in
Like those stupid abramis.

I didn't want to change the World
This one was good for me.

I only wanted to love her
In Novi Sad, on quay,
Looking at that fortress,
Which was defeated

After so many years.
And kissing her
Under those bridges
Which no longer exist.

(Novi Sad - city in Serbia)
(Dunav - river)
(abramis - type of fish)
(Lines - 23)
