A song/poem I made for a game I play called The Escapists I hope you enjoy it
Prison Bird ( Song/Poem for The Escapists )

I'm back in another prison
that was the vision of the warden
different divisions make this prison

The canteen for the food
not that it is any good anyway
But I need to keep my strength up if I want to escape

The gym for exercise
Only if the guards knew what my intention was they'd wise up and watch me '
as I devise a plan to escape

The showers to cool off some fatigue
oh the hours that I've spent here
in fear from the guards and inmates

The infirmary to heal that harm that has been done
A obvious ploy to farm the inmates of their money
not to far but so close each fight

I couldn't forget about solitary
Quite contrary it says it " keeps " us prisoners safe from the violent ones
but I know the truth anyway how it turns them into more malevolent monsters

and then there are the cells
supposedly our homes, personally I call it hell
but I can't argue that I've felt worse on the outside

Oh yeah, the jobs as well
the prisons crops how they need us they say
but they only use us to keep this prison open and delay it being closed for good

I wait for the night time to arrive the final roll call has been done
I prepare my whip and medkits and wait for the guards
the first few go by my cell, I knock them out and tie them up

As I tie up more, the alarm sounds screaming through it's sound
" the prison is in complete lock down now everyone stay in their cells "
As it knows the hell I'm gonna cause

As I tie up the final guards I walk by the inmates
Some are in fear the others are cheering me on
as I'm about to walk out the warden stops me

" What have you done to my dream " he asks me
" What does it look like it's a nightmare now " next time you won't screw with the wrong inmate
As I walk by him and escape

Another bird has flown free of it's cage
front page here I come
Until I'm captured again and placed in another one
