A poem about philosophical questions that I often ponder.
I observe what goes on around me.
Most everything bores me, but now and again something astounds me.
The ignorance of educators, the nothingness in someone's head.
This is when I think about what it's like to be dead.
Is it darkness?
Is it light?
Can you even tell the difference?
Is there a heaven?
Is it based off of preference?
These questions provoke me, always something I can't answer.
Like why God is the perfect answer?
What's left when everything is all right?
What's right when nothing is left?
Why these thoughts plague me, why words barely phase me.
These questions I repeat, over and over.
I'm tied up with myself, we never go hand in hand, even while we're shoulder to shoulder.
