Soulless

He doesn't understand
I whisper every secret in his ear
But still he touches my skin like braille
I entertain senses
But he does not see
He does not hear
He does not smell
He does not feel

The Goddess he cannot recognize
because he cannot distinguish between dream
and reality
He thought it wasn't me
Maybe I am a word lost in connotation
But I am everywhere
Plural God
I am the seasons
I light up the sky
Yet still, he remains asleep
