Goodbyes are never easy...
Is another tear worth the pain?
To cry alone beneath the rain
Is it worth the time to pour the wine?
And shed the tears of a dying bind

A dozen red roses I lay on your chest
Hoping they'll help you rest
I wash away the hate and blame
so I can hold on to whatever remains
A dozen red roses to ease your pain

Nothing is ever what it seems
But this is too real to be a dream
Alone in time as I walk the line
I find that the suffering ties the bind

A dozen red roses I lay on your chest
Hoping like hell they'll help you rest
I wash away the hate and blame
so I can hold on to whatever remains
A dozen red roses to ease your pain

Along with the games I've had to play
I've dealt with endless amounts of shame
A dozen dead roses cry under the rain

What's the price for the meaning of life?
Is it worth the sin and the sacrifice?
The cheers and fears the blood, sweat and tears
Is it worth the loss of what I hold dear
With all this pride I have to hide
Now is the time for I confide
A dozed red roses to say goodbye
