A psychological mistake

My biggest mistake
was thinking I could do psychology.
It was interesting at first,
just like everything can be new and shiny,
but it soon grew old, and dull,
and I lost interest.

I'm glad I dropped the major,
even if it means more work now
to add Chinese,
but at least I'm following
what I like to do,
and it's where, I believe,
I belong.
