A time travel dream
I opened my eyes and found myself lying on a dusty bed in a room that
looked very old and filled with antique furniture. Sunlight was coming in
from the balcony. Stepping on to the balcony my eyes fell upon the Sun that
was very bright and for a moment it blurred my vision. Blinking for a
couple of seconds I restored my vision and gazed upon a city where
everything seemed outdated. Looking at the people I could tell it was a
Japanese city. Then suddenly I noticed everywhere people looking up at the Sun.
It was too bright. At a closer look I could see that the Sun was expanding in
size. It was not the Sun!! I was stunned at that moment. But then it struck me like a
thunderbolt. Could this really be?! I immediately turned around and saw a newspaper lying on the bed.
I hurriedly went back in the room. My heart was racing. I picked the paper up in my trembling hands.
The date was August 6, 1945. That was it!
The War was about to end.
'Little Boy' had been deployed.
