Please Don't Look Beneath The Surface
Believe me I am perfect
Please don't look beneath the surface

The surface conceals
The surface hides
The surface shields
The surface lies

Underneath the hair dye and foundation
Is another broken person.

Inside's the core
It's where I fell
They say I'm a whore
And I am not well

But everything will be okay
When you look at the surface.

Red lipstick
Black hair dye
I'm not sick
I can't die

At least that's what you'll see
When you look at the surface.

Got to get out
Losing control
Fading out
Losing my soul

Beneath the smile and the laughs
Is another broken person.
