A rainy poem for a rainy day
Falling

Abandoned in an autumn haze
Fond memories they fall
Collapsed, relapsed, lost in a maze
I try to tame the call

Try to find a way back out
The place from where I came
I try to map the exit route,
… closed maze to open plain

But somehow there, the walls that scared
Confined, tight twists and turns
Somewhere in that cold despair
A pilot light now burns

Beckoning round winding paths
As rain, it takes its drops
Pathways form their own impasse,
and that is where it stops

… falling gently all around
I never stopped its fall
Fine rain, it falls, it lights the ground
… and still, I hear your call
