Stormy's poetry newsletter & contest entry
must use all these words - moon, witch, zombie, ghost, Elvis, pumpkin, apples, frightening

The moon has banished the sun away
This night is for the fright
The witching hour is now in power
Halloween has come tonight

The zombies dance is slow but sure
Ghosts float along the ceiling
The reign of terror has never been merrier
Spirits spook and haunt with feeling

We've invited greats from the musical past
To entertain this arcane attendance
On the stage is Kurt Cobain
Elvis and Jimi Hendrix

The great pumpkin was late he had a debate
With Frankenstein and Dracula
Jason and Freddy sliced up apples
As the argued who was more spectacular

It was fun for all, a frightening foray
An undead romp for all the ages
Halloween's the time for the creeps to shine
and for the monsters to leave their cages
