The fall of a narcissist.
Why are you here? You don't know--you just assumed that you were supposed to be. That you were supposed to live with these people others call "family." They weren't your family, and they never would be.

Your father, bless his heart, worked from 5 AM to 7 PM at a mediocre job to put food on the table. His work had something to do with fish, so you thought it was appropriate to think of him as a sailor. In reality, he just chopped the heads off of fish.
Your mother, on the other hand, as you grew up, would focus on one thing and one thing only: getting good grades.
