Snow day peom
Soft white flakes float down from the sky, they settle on the ground neither wet or dry.
They keep falling those specks of flour, piling up by the hour.
What once was varied in colour and hue, is now a sea of milky dew.

A crunching boot leaves it's mark as kids and adults swarm the park, a child lies down an angel appears yet some kids throw white powder balls in a play fight, which might lead to tears.

A sled is taken up the hill then ridden down, this ride is taken many times, when told to stop there is a frown.
