A composition of four haikus, in which make observations concerning the seasons.
Sun blossoms above,
flowers pushing through soil
like fawns from the womb.

Sweat trickles from brow,
the smell of the river tempts,
I watch the cubs swim.

Fawns now full-grown deer,
crimson, amber, persimmon,
kiss the cold, wet ground.

The bear’s sleep endless,
time freezes like the river,
the white overwhelms.
