Short Poems
I Painted You.
I picked up a paintbrush in my mind
All the beautiful things I could find
I painted them slowly over the years
I added some laughter, love and tears
Everything good that's happened to me
A painting of you is what I see

Her Eyes
He never sees a moments sleep
Closes his eyes and starts to weep
They all wonder why he cries
But in the night he sees her eyes
His eyes are glass from lack of rest
Revealing hurts within his chest
Too weak to even kneel and pray
His pain may never go away
He thinks now love equates with hell
Wont say the word that starts with L
Loving touches have left him scarred
Too much hurt has made his heart hard

Michele
Taste her kisses soft and warm
Smell her hair, feel her form
Out with friends having a drink
But in my mind of her I think

Painful Lessons
My mumma beat my ass so red
It hurt me when I sit.
But while I cried me in my bed,
It learned me give a shit.
