I stare at you,

I know you will never love me,

You love her,

I know you do,

Because look at what you talk to her about.

I want you to just tell me you love me,

That I am scared you don't like me,

And that I am just overreacting.

I look at her,

She tells me she wishes she was me,

But little did she know,

I'm the one yearning to be her,

Because I know you love her,

And that I will be nothing but a friend,

Because tomorrow,

I will wake up,

And I get to put a smile on my face,

Look at you straight in the face,

And push away the feelings,

The feelings that I cannot show,

Because you will never love me.

You tell me you love me,

But do you lie?

Am I forever just your friend?

Will I ever look at you,

And ignore the fact

That I am falling for you,

Everyday I speak to you.

I cannot just get over you,

I cannot just leave,

And let you just sit there,

Wondering why I left.

I read the message a lot,

Trying to figure out,

Do you love me?

Or do you just love her?
