This poem is about how a lonely butterfly finds refuge in her dreams.
Little Butterfly

Tick tock, a beaming sun has already surfaced,
Announcing the start of another day to be faced.

There lies our little butterfly,
Spreading her wings to give this day another try.

Amidst the blossoms she flutters,
Camouflaging herself from the vile hunters.

Unnoticed she glides towards the oaks,
Embracing her wings as invisibility cloaks.

On the topmost branch she rests,
Gazing at the majestic world at its best.

Envious of her mates' kaleidoscopes beneath her,
Towards them she flies in the quest of being a member.

In the open she flits, now exposed,
Yet still indistinct, as if all eyes were closed.

But suddenly it all dawns in: all the "shoos",
Revoking all the past woes.

Retreating, back to her nest she must go it seems,
Back to the comfort of the kingdom of dreams...
