The first snow of the year.
Snowfall

It's almost here, that winter wonderland.
With frozen air approaching from the north.
There's no more days with toes stuck in the sand.
Just water crystal clouds are bringing forth.
The snow falling down covered up the hearth.
The wind pushed in that cold, quite chilly breeze.
When does it snow upon the town named Perth?
I wondered as my nose began to freeze.
I could not help but cry out with a sneeze.
The flakes have returned "c'mon melt again!"
Has me yearning; "sunshine, springtime, please!"
Then I can stand within the gentle rain.
The sky was white with subtle touch of gray,
I watched snow fly for the first time all day.
