A dance with an old friend.
My feet follow yours as we dance to the rhythm.

We glide in and out, drifting between fear and love.

You seem to shift as we float across the floor.

Once a star, twice a hole, thrice a void.

We hop and twist and spin.

The world cruelly spins about us.

The shimmering lights make my head ache.

The screams make my ears ring.

And yet I cling to you with a quiet smile.
