the feeling of losing creativity, when your muse dissapears

My mind went blank, my thoughts seemed lost, to me it appeared my muse was gone, no inspiration touched my soul, no fancy visions crossed my eyes, no flash of greatness reflected in ideas, no whisper of sound upon my ears, not a single sign of creativity, it seemed as though my muse just up and abandoned me,

I looked and looked to no avail, while my ink and pads were growing stale, in search of my inspiration, which was appearing quite evasive, and for a brief moment I was struck with a contemplating thought, which was, what if I had used it all up, taking away my greatest joy, of creating vivid images out of thought,

and all of a sudden I felt a spark, an explosion of light pushing through the dark, and the first thoughts I felt and heard loud in my ears quake, were, “Good grief woman!! I just took a break, inspiring you is not all that I do, believe it or not I have other jobs too, when you are at rest, I am up busy at work, if your fingers go cramped, and your eyes get tired, or you pen becomes dry, I am still at work, I am the gift that you have been given, and I have no plans of leaving, there is no need to bite your nails to a nub, there is no need to pull your hair from your scalp, because I will always be around, so if just for a while, you feel uninspired, and can't create, don't worry it just means I've taken a break".............
