Trying to figure out if it's for real or just a dream
I walk into a place with questions flying around
So many answers that don’t sink in my head
Been picking up the wrong ones for the right ones
Until I find myself choosing to walk out on it

Life as usual always throws surprises at you
One day you are walking back and forth
The next day you’re at the same spot on foot
Staring at it with so much awe and gratefulness

The less I look ahead to a thing the less it gets hurt
The farther I hold back the more I am in safe ground
No matter how I try to pretend I am strong enough
Deep inside I’m terrified to know you might not be there

This feeling makes me rather believe the impossible
Impossible that you have come around in such no time
I don’t want to miss out on what I think is real
I prefer not to let go of it and forever no turning back

You teach me to believe again that hope still exists
You make me wish upon those falling stars once more
You give me faith that our dreams are meant to happen
But still I want to know how far this almost a reality can go
