A sonnet for the new year
The clock has started to wind down
The memories begin to flood
Within alcohol I will drown
The New Year starts tiny as a bud

Midnight sows the seed of optimism
We anticipate what is yet to come
I see the upcoming year through a prism
Emotions have me, I start to succumb

Where will success be found
This time no more regrets
Creativity crowned
This night always resets

A happy and healthy new year
Wishing you all some New Years cheer!
