A short poem.
What is a man
if he is nothing but lost?
Icarus flew too close to the sun
death by glory came at a cost.
Was he fearless or reckless
you ask yourself why?
A burning desire for freedom
or a burning desire to die?
In a world full of stories
of how we're meant to be.
Preaching bibles and myths
are we really free?
Ruled by the Lords
from their towers in the sky.
Funded by the faceless
we work until we die.
