A collection of poetry about a young woman dealing with the loss of her first lover.
The storefront

The sharp line's of the concrete seem to reach to the sky in an endless climbing slope,
The top's of the awning reaching clear up to the very sky,
Hue's of cold and gray,
Hue's of cold and dismay,
For I met him here, right here,
Two year's have passed since he went away,
I should be over this by now...
I should be over this.
I stare at the front of the store and remember what he had said to me that day,
It was quite stupid and meant nothing to me at the time,
But now, now, I can't get it off my mind.
He spoke softly in my ear, "Little sister, where are you headed?"
I laughed, and I cried, I have got to forget him.
