Personifications. Two kinds of storms happening at the same time.
"Storm"

Wind complained. Intimidating roars pursued
all possibilities to destroy in a wide path.
Tall Trees shook in fear and Leaves
trembled at her rant, fainting to Forest's floor.
Wind's Siren-sisters continued to scream
at my door with taunting; rudeness to intrude.

Wind sent Rain to bruise window panes.
Her wrath and determination made wild designs.
Pummeled in place were metaphorical statements;
temporary tattoos, with prism-colored ink that
marked streaming trails resembling tributaries
of tears left behind. Or were they my tears?

Darkness' wet-soaked cloak showed up,
shrouding my worn-out cabin. Within my abode,
Candle's soft glow painted the walls a light
wash with a buttery-white hue; a stark contrast
against Storm's black background, drawn
outside the lines of my humble homestead.

Creeping through log-planked cracks, a wisp
of the wicked Wind wiled to disrupt this inhabitant
and disturb Comfort's domain. Invasion and
Violation insinuated in-sync, seeking their next
victim. Candle blinked a sad signal of resignation.
Storm's Wind, Rain, and Darkness prevailed.

While Wind whistled more threats throughout,
She was outwitted by the matches in my pocket.
