Man takes a walk, gets lost
Once upon a sunrise, he went out to see
Grand it came, shining bright, beautifully
Glorious and colorful, wide it did span
‘Twas morning time, morning time for this gentleman

As mid-day approached, he continued upon his way
Down a clear path, he went, no pebble in disarray
So many possibilities to journey and adventure
With open meadows and ponds crystal clear
To a certain hilltop, beautifully laid
With poppies and lilies, and fears far away

Across this hill he continued his stroll,
Clouds beginning to darken, as he came off his knoll
While winds begin to whirl, and trees begin to sway
Afternoon seemed to have come, and bluster straight away
With raucous howling threatening and grim
His calm peaceful demeanor, changed amidst his storm

With worry, uncertainty, lost from his path
No longer sure, he thought to go back
As sunshine fell behind darkness
Himself still lost and seemingly hopeless
Where can he go, what can he plan?
‘Tis night, ‘tis night, for this gentleman
