a "what-if" short poem
Suppose I had done any different,
Would I now treasure your warmth next to me while I sleep?
Had our plans succeeded and our money put to rent,
Would I still replay our memories that I choose to keep?
I have done what I have done,
And now your words are often bitter.
It is fate, for if not, I never would have met HER.
