A poem without bunny rabbits anywhere
It began with a crib
Where babe in arms
Came to give life
No cosy easy place this
But hard deep wounds
On a tree on a hill far away.

As the babe became a man
He willing took the pain
So we could walk free
From all sins pathetic stain

As you look upon the cross
See the pain he bore
So we could join in life rejoicing
And indeed so much more

And the tear in gods eye
Is borne not in sadness
nor grief
But in love as Gods plan
Begins to bring relief
