I wish. Born of loneliness, a place that....for a moment...I don't know. I'm crying.
Fifty trampling feet
Rushing under canopy
Towards sweet smelling

Release

At the other end of the path
Lies all they left behind
Hidden in the trees

Peace

Mothers and daughters
Welcome arms, welcome home
To that hidden village in the overgrowth

Relief

They dig in and talk at length
Sharing the things they did that day
No matter how many times they've done the same

Tradition

"I laid seed for hours"
"I prepared the soil"
"This grain, is all of our toil!"

Clink

They share a toast
To their loving family
Every soul sharing

Caring

About the next in line
Meat is placed on my plate
I've arrived just in time

Illusion

To share in this magic moment
When light is draining from the sky
Is that...I hear music playing, now

Wonder

From out behind the small mill
Comes a procession of children
All playing an instrument with skill

Fantasia

Bellies full, hand grips hand
Arm in arm, we dance
Around the fire

Wish

Until we all collapse
Retreat to our cabins
For tomorrows festival

Sleep
