Feelings of hurt, and depression
HARD TIMES

My heart is broke, and I feel dead inside.

Where has the love gone? What have I done?

Lonely emptiness is rising up inside, filling me to the brim.

As I walk along the sea of despair, a wave comes driving me into the beach.

The sea of despair seems to start taking revenge on me, slamming my face into the sand.

I stand up, to only find another wave has came, just to knock me back down again.

This keeps happening over and over, with tortured timing.

Knocked down once again, face in the sand drowning.

I have only enough strength left to raise my head.

Only to have another wave to smash my face into the beach.

Feeling I can't lift my head anymore, I cry out!

Where's my help? Nobody came.

I screamed out, by no one heard.

I'm now drowning in the sea of despair.

Where did love go? I felt I lost the battle this time.

Then a voice came to me.

Get up, crawl if you must! You have only inches to go to breathe.

Claw in to hold yourself where you are.

Time the rhythm of the waves to move you forward!

Just a couple of more feet. Try!

Then you will stand again, be renewed in life, never to fall again!
