The story of boogie knight, the not-so-dirty limerick.
There was a young Knight who could boogie
Who, unshav’n, looked like a wookie.
He learned dance from his dad,
Once a strapping young lad
That devoted his life to boogie-woogie.

The king’s jester could learn from his moves
As the young knight’s dancing skill proves:
If you can break down,
In the midst of town,
There shan’t be a soul that disapproves.

The princess once saw his great act,
She decided to have him tracked.
A courier* was sent
In the time of Lent
And brought the knight a note intact.

‘Twas an invite to the throne room
For a chance to become her groom,
He politely declined
For he just was assigned
To appear at the school’s lunchroom.

The princess was rather quite miffed,
And she let her emotions drift.
She then had him encaged
‘Til she learned of his age,
And brought him home via airlift.

He returned to show up in court
To show he was still a good sport.
He showed off his skills
the king waived his bills
And everyone let out a snort.

The young new knight was then knighted,
Which made the princess delighted!
He was now called a sir,
And was giv’n a fur,
Which then made him overexcited.

That rather young man boogie knight
Now boogies alone, home at night
In a dark, dark room
With plenty of room
To show off his boogying might.
