Spring haikuish offerings
54 16.april

381 54a old path, so few footprints; autumn turns to winter
382 54b green cascade, the stick plant reaches out to me
383 54c coffee wafts around silent old men; frost settles
384 54d no line breaks; periods as pause, stanza for a deep breath

56 16.april

385 56a two leaves and a stone; your face blocks my path
386 56b rain comes and crocus waken while I nap
387 56c buds glisten with rain; mountains in mist; winter lost to spring
388 56d april sprinkles; the sky comes down; the river rises to kiss it

57 16.april

389 57a centuries of digging up yellowbells; now no one hears its call
390 57b even biscuit root blooms whether noticed or not
391 57c chocolate beckon but I resist, drink mint coffee instead
392 57d sirens pierce my grief; are they coming to take me away?

Numbering is wonky and not in order that they were written. 54a-d were the first written on 16.April.2018.
