Staycation

I'm having a staycation tonight
and everyone is out of sight.
The house is completely quiet
and I'm blowing off my diet.

Dinner is take-out
instead of leftover sauerkraut.
I've got steak and eggs to start
even if it's bad for the heart.

Ice cream for dessert-
I'll have the whole quart.
That brownie flavor
is great to savor!

Then it's Netflix and chilling,
taking a bath and ignoring Mom's grilling.
The answering machine can wait,
because tonight's gonna be great!
