The memory of love is a poignant reminder.
The tingling touch of skin on skin,
Whispering fingers, speaking slow

To bodies lulled with loving's glow.
All of these I've known and know--

But loneliness comes creeping, too,
When smoothie-laid sheets stare mockingly

From empty rooms. And loveless nights...
But pauses in the flow of life.
