A short poem
Though I am forty five
I still long to be
By my mother's side
As I used to
When I was just three.
I remember I ran from
My kindergarten
To be by my mother's
Side, from a classroom
Which had green-board
But would say that
It is a black board.
But when I met her
She chided me
Instead of appreciating.
When I became a Mom
I realize why it was so.
