Rely on God instead of self
The Rocky, Rapid, River of Doom:
Known to give the forest gloom.

For any creature who attempts to pass,
Has been met with the River's wrath.

A wise old Owl, perched on a tree,
Shares the wisdom to pass safely.

Yet no creature heeds advice,
The Creatures cross with all their pride.

Without wisdom, their souls are consumed,
By the Rocky, Rapid, River of Doom.

'Twas one day a Rat and a Mouse arrived,
Desiring to cross, but scared to die.

Perched on a tree, the owl cries,
"Hop on the rocks, do not swim, or you will surely die."

The Rat snied at the Owl's advice,
And dove right in with all of his pride.

Without wisdom, the rat was consumed,
By the Rocky, Rapid, River of Doom.

Yet the Mouse hopped on the rocks,
For he relied on the Owl to cross.

The Mouse hopped safely to the River's bank,
To the Owl, the Mouse gave thanks.

The Mouse chose wisdom, instead of pride,
The road that is narrow instead of wide.

One with wisdom will not be consumed,
By the Rocky, Rapid, River of Doom.
